My Amazing Trip to Singapore

I was able to go on an amazing trip to Singapore last summer to see my cousins. I just wanted to say that it was the best experience that I’ve ever had and I couldn’t have asked for a better trip! So heres my first day of being inSingapore story!

The reason that I was able to go to Singapore was for my cousins. My new baby cousin Sophia had just been born and my Grandparents decided that we should help them with their new baby even though they lived so far away. So my grandparents arranged tickets for me and my other cousin, Jacob, to fly to Singapore and stay there for 2 weeks.

So on June 21st 2017, my cousin, my grandparents and I all left on the flight to Singapore. It was a 20 hour flight with no breaks but a layover in San Fransisco. We left on a Wednesday, but by the time we got there it was Friday morning at 8 am. As soon as we got out of the airport, I was overwhelmed by how absolutely humid it was. It felt like the air itself was trying to suffocate us.

As we drove to our Aunt and Uncle’s apartment, I was amazed by how beautiful the city really was. There are amazing buildings everywhere but just enough forest, trees, and beautiful gardens to contrast it.

My other two cousins living there had no idea we were coming so when we got to the apartment, we hid behind our luggage until they came into scaring distance, and then jumped and grabbed them. They were so scared and surprised that my younger cousin even cried because she was so surprised and happy to see us.

The rest of the day was spent touring Singapore and unpacking. We were still out and about in the city at 1am so by the time we got back to the apartment for sleep, I was a complete zombie. We had just flown 20 hours plus toured Singapore and surprised our cousins with maybe 3 hours of sleep.

While in Singapore we were able to tour amazing places like the electric trees, seeing the Merl-ion, and even stay in the boat hotel for one night!

So that was my amazing first day of Singapore! I hoped you enjoyed hearing about my trip!
