The Variety Show at DPMS showcases the unique talents of our students. Usually 9 groups are selected for the show. If you go to auditions there will be three judges.  The judges are: Mrs. Etcher, Mrs. Sullivan, and Mrs. Pederson.

Last year, the Bench Warmers performed a dance routine.  They perform every year. This is their last year they are planning on performing because they are in 8th grade. Luke Spires is from this group.  He said his favorite thing about  the show is, “Missing class.” Also in the group, Jack Barlow, said, “We practice for 2 hours a week.”

Last year we had an amazing solo from Hannah Pugh.   “It was very nerve wracking and scary performing in front of the whole school,” Pugh said.   But her favorite part was, “The practices.”   Ms. Clark’s class will be doing a dance in the show this year.   What song will they be dancing too?  Head to the show to find out!   The judges like to see unique and different acts, so get out and audition on October 3rd and 4th after school!

Maia, writer

Hi, my name is Maia and I’m in 7th grade, the most annoying thing I get asked is, is it Mia or Maia and do you spell it Mya or Maia? It’s so annoying!...
