Wednesday, October 24th is bully prevention day. We will show that we are united for kindness, inclusion, and acceptance. Pacer’s National Bullying Prevention Center states,”‘ORANGE provides a powerful, visually compelling expression of solidarity,’ said Paula Goldberg, Executive Director of PACER Center. ‘Whether it’s hundreds of individuals at a school wearing ORANGE, store owners offering ORANGE products, or a community changing a landmark to ORANGE, the vibrant statement becomes a conversation starter, sending the supportive, universal message that bullying is never acceptable behavior.'”

 This means that orange represents kindness and not bullying. We wear orange because it is commonly associated with safety and visibility. We should be kind to everyone and not bully others because they are different from us. Most people just bully others because they are jealous. If you are a bully please stop, and if you are being bullied please tell a trusted adult such as a parent or teacher about it.  Or, you can report any bullying to Safe Utah App.
