Cross country had their last meet at Union Middle School. The DPMS team won in both girls and boys overall. There were 16 medals awarded to the racers on our team, including Grayson Milne and Mckay Wells.  Both Milne and Wells received 1st place awards in their category.  Their first place victory did not come without difficulty. Grayson tripped in a pot hole and Mckay rolled his ankle after tripping on a root. Luckily each runner finished the race without serious injury. Camryn Osborn, when asked of the intensity it takes to run cross country, she said, “It must require an insane amount of skill, energy and practice.”
