Jane J., Journalist

Chris Colfer, an American New York Times bestselling author, is publishing A Tale of Sorcery on September 28th, 2021. Following the other two books in the bestselling series, A Tale of Sorcery is sure to hold up to the standard set by the books before it. It can be preordered on Amazon here at any time.

This series is connected to The Land of Stories, Colfer’s first series, and chronicles the adventures of Brystal Evergreen, a cast out fairy from human civilization due to the outlawing of magic in her home kingdom. She is taken in by Madame Wetherberry, and taught that her magic is a beautiful thing that the world can be blessed with.

Chris Colfer said on his Twitter, “I’ve known (what happens in the book) for months but in TWO WEEKS you will too!!!” Highly anticipated by many fans of his, from his television career and other books, it will soon be able to be found in audiobook and eBook form on Libby. Libby can be used on any mobile device, using your library card. The author himself narrates the audiobook, and with his acting and brilliant writing background, it makes for a fantastic listen.

The past two books in this series have four out of five stars on Goodreads for the first one, and four and a half out of five for the second one. If that is any indication, this book will not disappoint. The age range for this book is middle grade, which means that it is appropriate while still having a higher Lexile. It is sure to be a magical week next week.
