Canvas helps students stay on top of schoolwork

Canvas, an online system used by schools, helps students at Draper Park Middle School to see grades, upcoming school events, and teacher feedback.

By allowing students to see their progress in its online grade book, they can always know how they are doing in their classes. Canvas also provides a to-do list that shows all upcoming assignments in every subject, so students have a manageable way to finish homework and projects.

Canvas is used daily by both students and teachers. Most assignments are posted online, so Canvas is especially useful for kids that are absent or needing clarification on a certain task.

Canvas also has an app for those with mobile devices. Many middle schoolers have phones, so this makes checking assignments and grades even easier. There is also a setting that allows notifications so students can see announcements from their teacher.

Canvas is used by nearly all schools within Canyons School District.
