New Ring doorbell chimes ring out the spooky season

Braden G

Ring has added some Halloween-inspired chimes to alert if someone is at the door. There are nine in total. Some notable ones include a creaking door, a spooky laugh, and a screeching cat. Also, there are new Quick Replies. It works like this. When someone rings the doorbell, a speaker inside the doorbell says something. A few examples include:

“Just a minute! Feel free to park your broom.”

“Boo! Leave us a message if you dare [evil laugh].”

“Please leave the package (and any hocus pocus) outside.”

These Quick Replies may be helpful during Halloween night. Ring also offers seasonal faceplates for $14.99 for the spooky season. They are available for the Ring 2, 3 4, and 4 Plus. There are bats and spider webs, and pumpkins and leaves if you want to be less scary. You can buy them here:

Currently, other smart doorbells, such as Vivint or Nest have not announced holiday chimes.
