From schools around the district, 499 new 6th graders are beginning Middle School.

“I like middle school, because I get to roam the hallway,” said 6th grader, Brandon Crow.

In elementary you don’t get to pick your classes, but in middle school you do get to pick your classes. “Middle school is better than fifth grade, because you get more freedom,” said 6th grader, Jordan Larson.

In most elementary schools, you have to sit in the same room all day long, but in middle school you get at least get to walk around. “I like middle school, because all the classes are scattered around and you can get your exercise,” said 6th grader, Jace Searcy.
