The AMAs (American Music Awards) were held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 21st which was streamed on ABC Network. 

This year, it was hosted by rapper, Cardi B. The AMAs have been held every year since 1973, giving awards to music artists that have released songs/albums throughout the year. There were categories such as, Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Favorite Trending Song, Favorite Music Video, Favorite Male/Female Pop Artist, Favorite Pop Duo or Group, Favorite Album, and Favorite Song along with 22 other categories. 

The most awards received this year went to BTS, Doja Cat, and Megan Thee Stallion who each won three awards. Over the past years Taylor Swift has gotten the most American Music Awards with six wins.
